Claims
CLAIMS
Claims will open on Friday, July 3 in preparation for game start on Friday, July 10, after which they will stay open indefinitely. All applications received after game start should receive a response within 72 hours. There is a character cap of 40 and a cast cap of 6.Character cap: 24/40
- There are no reserves — first come, first served.
- In the event of two claims for the same character, preference will always be given to the version played in Balance RP.
- Players have 72 hours to submit revisions. If they fail to do so within that time period, their claim will be rejected and they will have to wait 1 week to resubmit their claim.
- Each player can have a maximum of two characters. However, if you would like to claim a second character, please check with us here first!
- Claims will remain open until the conclusion of the first arc of Imaginary Island, after which time they will close for plot reasons. More concrete dates will be made available as the first arc progresses, but this time frame is anticipated to be about 1.5-2 months (meaning claims will close around the end of August or beginning of September 2020).

No more than a couple of paragraphs are necessary. Feel free to format as bullet points or more formally — it's your choice.
Character ability: If your character has a canon ability that you would like to adapt into the setting, describe it here. You may pick only one canon ability. Gauge whether it is overpowered for the setting and, if so, please describe how you plan to nerf it for the purposes of Island. We may ask for further tweaks if we have concerns about its functionality in-game.
Inventory: List everything your character has on them at arrival on Island. If your character is a Balance import, they can bring everything they had on the Moon Base as long as you list it here. If your character is coming in fresh, they can have one non-magical weapon on hand.
Sample: We'd like to see a sample of any length, as long as you feel it's representative of your character's voice and personality. For Balance Transfers, this is where you can put the link to your old app or a thread from Balance.

Secondary Path: Please list your character's second chosen path. If you haven't decided on one yet, write "undecided."
Advanced Path: Please list your character's advanced path, if applicable. If you haven't decided on one yet, write "undecided". If you are opting to max a secondary path instead of taking an advanced path, write "none" or "N/A".
Why these paths?: Let us know in a few sentences why you've chosen the paths you did for your character! How do they fit with the character's personality, or in what interesting ways do they contrast? If you are grandfathering in paths that your character previously had in Balance, you do not need to provide an explanation, but for any new paths we'd like to know your reasoning.
Path Actions: Provide a list of path actions your character will have access to on Island. As a reminder, Balance imports have the opportunity to arrive on Island with all path actions maxed out; if you'd like to take that option, please list all path actions here. New characters will have all primary path actions when they arrive on Island.
