Claims

CLAIMS
Claims will open on Friday, July 3 in preparation for game start on Friday, July 10, after which they will stay open indefinitely. All applications received after game start should receive a response within 72 hours. There is a character cap of 40 and a cast cap of 6.Character cap: 24/40
- There are no reserves — first come, first served.
- In the event of two claims for the same character, preference will always be given to the version played in Balance RP.
- Players have 72 hours to submit revisions. If they fail to do so within that time period, their claim will be rejected and they will have to wait 1 week to resubmit their claim.
- Each player can have a maximum of two characters. However, if you would like to claim a second character, please check with us here first!
- Claims will remain open until the conclusion of the first arc of Imaginary Island, after which time they will close for plot reasons. More concrete dates will be made available as the first arc progresses, but this time frame is anticipated to be about 1.5-2 months (meaning claims will close around the end of August or beginning of September 2020).

Canon: Umineko no Naku Koro ni
Canon Point: End of EP7 Tea Party.
Age: 19 in canon, now... 21...? ?? in Balance.
Balance Import? Ayup.
History/Personality: Axed, as they're an import.
Character ability: As before, Lion will be bringing a snippet of Beatrice's infamous magic, reflected in Balance as a once-a-day use of Major Image.
Inventory: hooboy, they amassed a weird list of shit in balance-
-The standard BIAS, minus... some of the things they never used, like the torches, the pitons, and the crowbar, and instead stuffed full of First Aid Supplies. It's heavy and they're a twig.
- Sawed-off winchester rifle and bullets, as their Initiation reward.
-The "desert-proof" tailored Cleric outfit, since their other one got munched by a shark, and a few other outfits.
-A weird collection of souveniers! A Fantasy Costco (tm) journal, a candy-cane pen, a travel-safe tea set, a single apple's worth of magic seeds, a tin full of tea samplers, a ton of fantasy medical books, and a dinky old camera. They had more, but it got turned into a gift for someone else.
-A golden magatama necklace, from Maya, as well as everything in this comment maya W H Y
-A spellbook (gifted by Leon-the-Artificer), and a shitton of notes about things like the basics of channeling circles, and the Idiot's Guide to Making a Magic Item. They also have the incomplete draft of said item,
-Items from home: Natsuhi's heirloom spirit mirror (non-magical), Maria's diary, Jessica's brass knuckles.
-The Extreme Teen Bible. They kinda hate it.
-The Phantom Fist, which they wear almost constantly.
-And a weird red umbrella that responds to many problems with more fireball.

Paths
Primary Path: Cleric.
Secondary Path: Wizard.
Advanced Path: Sage.
Why this path?: Grandfathered paths. But it's fun to answer the other two! They chose Wizard on a whim, as they figured they were already stuck on the magic train whether they wanted it or not, so might as well learn it safely. And Sage was a choice in response to Wonderland - after a horror like that, they needed to do more to keep people safe.
Path Actions: Iiiiin ordeeeeer-
Cleric: Maxed out, with a * on Sanctuary.
Wizard: Academic*, Find Familiar, Detect Magic, Thaumaturgy, Levitate.
Sage: Banishment, Raise Dead, Water Walk, Storm Sphere, Stoneskin.
*Sanctuary: Their two choices are "Aberrations" and "Constructs". It's been tweaked further with Academic as referenced here, to make it mobile, able to avoid One Person, and consist entirely of glittery butterflies. Maintaining a brand is Important.
