Claims


CLAIMS
Claims will open on Friday, July 3 in preparation for game start on Friday, July 10, after which they will stay open indefinitely. All applications received after game start should receive a response within 72 hours. There is a character cap of 40 and a cast cap of 6.

  • There are no reserves — first come, first served.

  • In the event of two claims for the same character, preference will always be given to the version played in Balance RP.

  • Players have 72 hours to submit revisions. If they fail to do so within that time period, their claim will be rejected and they will have to wait 1 week to resubmit their claim.

  • Each player can have a maximum of two characters. However, if you would like to claim a second character, please check with us here first!

  • Claims will remain open until the conclusion of the first arc of Imaginary Island, after which time they will close for plot reasons. More concrete dates will be made available as the first arc progresses, but this time frame is anticipated to be about 1.5-2 months (meaning claims will close around the end of August or beginning of September 2020).

A Persona in the Persona series is the manifestation of a person's soul which can be summoned for purposes such as combat and reconnaissance.

Shinjiro's Persona is Castor. Castor is essentially a tank-type persona, which passively regenerates damage taken every turn and reflects up to half of the physical attacks aimed at it. With the exception of Evil Smile, which can instill fear in enemies, all of Castor's attacks deal physical damage to enemies. Castor has no elemental affinities nor weaknesses.

The ability I'd like to pick for the island is Akasha Arts, an "area of effect" ability that deals heavy physical damage to all enemies, with a chance of a 2x multiplier. In the game, this attack costs 19% of the character's HP to use, but I'm flexible on however the mods want to incorporate that into DND mechanics!

It's also worth noting that Shinjiro's lost control of Castor before. There is not a known in-universe explanation for this, nor does it occur again throughout the period Shinjiro is a playable character in P3 FES. In the Wonderland mission of Balance's original incarnation, I was given a DC to pass to keep control of Castor. If the mods would like to keep this mechanic when Castor is used for RNG or CTAs I would be up for that as well!
